Project: Integrated Media Campaign

Objective

To encourage farmers to access information via the newly launched businesslink.gov.uk 'farming theme' and increase traffic to this area of the site.

What we did

PR4 developed an integrated PR and advertising campaign. We issued press releases to target media, produced case studies of farmers endorsing the theme, oversaw the official launch at the National Farmers Union conference, and developed stakeholder resource kits to promote the useful information and guidance available for farmers on the website.

Results

Coverage reached a total audience of 8,810,395. Online ads were given tracking codes, which showed click-through rates to the Business Link farming theme, and these corresponded with spikes in site traffic. Visits to the pages increased by 70% in one month alone.
