As director of the B2B team, Anne has high-level experience in government combined with a solid track record in marketing and communications in both the public and private sectors. Anne is also our expert in crisis management.

She began her career in direct sales and in 1982 joined Solicitors Division of the Department for Trade and Industry (now known as BIS). During her civil service career, she led the marketing and communications team of the Innovation Unit, where she was recognised by senior industrial secondees for her networking and brokerage skills. Anne also worked in the Cabinet Office, where she gave policy advice to (and wrote speeches for) the then Deputy Prime Minister.

Anne left the Civil Service in 2000 after she was headhunted to work for e-skills UK, where she organised the world's biggest slumber party to promote IT among teenagers and founded CC4G. She subsequently founded her own social networking company and continues to consult for a range of not-for-profit projects that benefit young people.

Anne is a published author and a Vice President of the International Association of Business Communicators (UK Chapter).
